The DigiCore content covers language arts and math, including algebra, and is developed for Common Core Assessment. On March 8, 2013, nationwide vehicle wraps manufacturer JMR Graphics releases a statement commenting on an upcoming wrap advertising campaign sponsored by Philadelphia city officials.
According to CBS Philly, City Council President Darrel Clarke introduced a plan last month that will place wrap advertising on city-owned buildings and vehicles as a way of boosting revenue without boosting taxes.
Asked about the initiative, Clarke said, We think its very important, as Ive said time after time, to create revenue opportunities for the city other than sticking our hands into the citizens pockets and increasing taxes.
CBS Philly reports that the plan will make it possible to run ads on high-profile city properties like rec centers and track trucks, and that it has been conservatively estimated that the campaign might bring in as much as $ 10 million in revenue per year.
Clarke points out to CBS Philly that Philadelphia is hardly the first city to use such a strategy, saying, “Across the nation, municipalities are advertising on publicly-owned property and theyre making millions and millions of dollars.
Representative Margaret Zolla of vehicle wraps manufacturer JMR Graphics responds to the citys initiative. “We’ve seen this strategy work in cities across America and Europe,” says Zolla. “Outdoor and mobile media advertising has seen a lot of success in boosting a city’s available revenue without burdening taxpayers.
